I was just listening to a coaching session with Coaching From Spirit founder Sharon Wilson.
It was inspiring to hear how we can get so stuck in our stuff, that it makes it almost impossible to move forward.
I really wanted to share this with you, because it is so empowering to know that we are not alone.
Have you ever faced a challenge in your life, where you just can’t see how you can turn it around?
Your thoughts become worried, your body becomes stressed, and the adrenal hormones are flowing freely?
We have all experienced these feelings at one time or another.
I know I have.
And it’s not your fault!
We have activated “within us” these old patterns, and beliefs, and nobody has ever shown us “how to” un-do them and re-activate something new and more empowering.
It’s not all just positive thinking. What we are feeling “in the moment’, things like anxiety, worry, and stress are real.
It’s important to acknowledge these emotions.
It is also extremely important to have a process that move us past this, and into higher possibilities.
You know, the “what ifs” in life. We certainly think of the “what ifs”, when it comes to our negative emotions that can spiral out of control
What I want you to know, is we can absolutely shift these into positive “what ifs” as well.
We can re-activate something new energetically, to move beyond our “stuck spot”.
Small shifts, create huge progress.
Think of a standard car or truck you are learning how to drive. At first it is very awkward. You have to think about shifting into gear, have one foot on the clutch, the other on the gas, and how to “synchronize” all of these things “at the same moment”,so you can experienc a smooth take-off.
Plus, you would never start out in 4th gear, or you’d sputter and stall before you even got started.
It’s the same for us.
We need to make small starts. Small changes or shifts in our patterns and beliefs.
And then CELEBRATE those small successes. The first time I drove a standard, and took off in first gear without the car jolting, I was one happy camper.
Then slowly, I learned to drive a bit faster, shift into second, get comforatble there, and on it goes.
Now I drive an automatic, that was way too much work!!! (Just kidding).
Whatever challenges, big or small you are experiencing, be gentle with yourself, and know, there is a way out or up.
Whether it’s having a specialized “coach” for your situation, or calling upon a trusted friend, take the time to make some shifts.
It doesn’t have to be difficult. A little awkward maybe, until you practice.
In less than an hour, you can have clarity, and that little light at the end of the tunnel, which will inspire and guide you to be back on track.
